Just ban the damn thing or do a rework like heal your face instead etc. I have it golden in my collection and I don't mind getting a dust refund and have the card completely removed from the game for good but I just quitted playing the game after the quest rework and even if I return I'll probably return to standard. Wild is destined to be broken and it keeps getting butchered every expansion these days. Doesn't make any sense to play that format anymore.

Honestly it should read deal 20 dmg to yourself on all 3 phases.

The easiest nerf I think would be that after the quest reward, damage dealt to yourself ALSO damages an opponent, not INSTEAD. This way you would have to heal not only through quest damage, but all other damage needed to kill your opponent. Plus it woulnd kill the flavour

I wish bans worked in a way that you couldnt have a certain combination of cards in your deck. I guess discover/random gen could still get the cards but I think it would help the meta

I still fully believe they need to shift its functionality from transferring damage to sharing damage. Warlock still takes the hit, but so does opponent. Very much the feeling of "if I'm going down, I'm taking you with me!"

I love control decks and my problem with it as you mentioned, they just chill at 1 dmg away from completing it and then they complete it and play it instantly i never had a chance to dirty rat it because of it, thats the worst feeling

Maybe it should be limited to damage you directly take from your own cards. This would take fatigue and damage your opponent's cards deal during your turn out of the equation at least

Reduce the questline requirements and change Tamsin's battlecry to: For the rest of the game, first time you take damage on your turn damages your opponent instead

This quest makes wild lame AF. You got until turn 8 and itts 66% of decks past platinum 7. Theotar, mutanus is the only defense so they won't complete the quest until their turn. It's a reason to not even play. Same with corrupted uther auto win w sing along buddy. really stupid

To fix Painlocks, what would be necessary is to nerf Blightborn Tamsin so that only damage from your cards gets redirected (So no Fatigue as a weapon) Then it would be to nerf Giants. Molten Giant up to 30 mana so instead of being free at 10 health, it goes down to 1 mana at 1 health (Or free at 10 health with Renathal). Flesh Giant up to 20 mana (Effectively killing the card for Priest, but as Painlock double dips with their self damage and self healing they accelerate it out stupidly fast) This would remove the 2 main ways that Painlock functions. Demon Seed Fatigue strats would no longer be possible and the hyper stat scam from early giant spam in general Painlock decks (Including Standard) would be less potent and more risky.

While yeah I agree that Blightborn Tamsin (And almost all the "Rest of the game" effects) are terrible design.. I was watching Rarran play tons of Demon Seed games yesterday and 90% of the games were won before the questline reward was even played

You forgot to mention the basic change to Warlock where losing life is now different from taking damage.

Demon Seed was fine before miniset. Just nerf Dark Glare NOT to give free mana
